New Delhi: All India Institute of Medical Sciences, AIIMS has released an important notice regarding the on-going online registration and application process for AIIMS MBBS 2019. As per the notice released on the official website aiimsexams.org yesterday, the total number of seats has been tentatively set at 1200. The notice further confirms that the final number of seats, however, would be confirmed only at the end of May 2019. This year, AIIMS MBBS 2019 would be conducted for admissions to 15 AIIMS including AIIMS New Delhi and Bathinda, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Deogarh, Gorakhpur, Jodhpur, Kalyani, Mangalagiri, Nagpur, Patna, Raipur, Rae Bareli, Rishikesh and Telangana.
Students are again reminded that from this year the application is a three step process, namely, Basic Registration, Generation of code and Final Registration. The notice released further clearly mentions the dates for the same (notified below). Students are required to complete the entire process to be able to appear in the AIIMS MBBS 2019 examination which would be conducted on May 25 and 26, 2019.
AIIMS MBBS 2019: Three Step Application Process explains
Basic Registration: The first step of the process has already started from November 30, 2018. Students who are interested can complete the basic registration process till 5:00 pm on January 3, 2019. Remember, it is only to fill your general details. Fees would not be paid during this time. Also, students would not be able to select the examination city or centre choices in this step.
Generation of Code (for Final Registration): The second step is to generate the code. Only the students who have completed the basic registration would be able to generate the code for final registration from January 29, 2019. The last date to do so would be February 17, 2019. Please remember, this is an important step. Students who fail to generate the code would not be able to complete their final registration and hence not able to appear for the examination. The link to general the code would be active on aiimsexams.org till 5 pm on February 17, 2019.
Final Registration: The last stage is final registration. This is also the time when students would be required to pay the fees for the examination. Students who have successfully completed the above two steps would be able to complete their registration. The link to do so would be active from February 21, 2019 till 5:00 pm on March 12, 2019. Students would be able to pay the fee, subsequent to which they would be able to choose the city and give a choice of the examination centre.
