Homeopathy:

Homeopathy is a system of medicine recognized as an effective means of treating diseases. Though this system was developed abroad, it has become an integral part of the Indian way of life. There are many institutes imparting Homeopathy courses in India.

Courses: B.H.M.S – Bachelor of Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery- 5 and ½ years, internship included. For D.H.M.S – Diploma in Homoeopathic Medicine and Surgery 4 years required. A 3 year long MD in homeopathy is available once the candidate has reached the post graduate level.

Qualification required for Admission: B.H.M.S – A candidate should have attain 10 + 2 in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English with minimum 45 % marks. As in the MBBS Course, an All India Entrance Examination is required for selection into the BHMS course.

Job prospectus: They can get jobs as Homeopathy doctors in Homeo clinics or practice independently.
