Things to keep in mind while filling JEE Advanced Application form 2021
- Ensure that all the fields marked mandatory are filled properly
- The exam conducting authority will reject incomplete JEE Advanced registration form
- Any incorrect detail entered in the application form will lead to cancellation of a candidate’s admission

How to fill JEE Advanced 2021 Application form?
Candidates need to follow four simple steps to fill JEE Advanced Application form 2021:
Step 1 – Registration for JEE Advanced 2021
- The first step is to register for JEE Advanced 2021. The link to register for the exam will be provided below immediately after the same is released by the authorities.
- Before filling the JEE Advanced registration form, candidates should read all the instructions thoroughly
- Candidates will be required to log in on the JEE Advanced registration website using their JEE Main 2021 roll number, password, and security pin. Foreign candidates can apply directly by filling the online registration form. They must note down their Login ID and Password.
- After logging in successfully, candidates will be required to fill in their academic, personal and contact details. These should be the same as entered during JEE main 2021 registrations. The required details will be displayed on the screen in the ‘Read-only’ mode.
- Besides the above details, candidates will be required to fill some additional fields in the JEE Advanced Registration form
Step 2 – Uploading documents
At this step, aspirants need to upload the scanned certificates in the required format.
Step 3 – Payment of JEE Advanced registration fees
The third step is to pay the JEE Advanced registration fee. The fee can be paid in both online and offline mode.
Payment of JEE Advanced registration fees through Online Mode
To pay the registration fee through this mode, candidates will be redirected to State Bank Multi Option Payment System (MOPS) page. At this stage, you need to choose one of the options — Debit Card/ Credit Card/ Net Banking. After you pay the fee successfully, a unique registration number will be generated. Aspirants can take a printout of this unique number along with their registration details.
Payment of JEE Advanced registration fees through Offline Mode
To pay JEE Advanced registration fees via offline mode, aspirants will have to select “SBI Branch” to generate the challan at the payment stage. Aspirants can pay the registration fees in cash by using the printout of this challan at any SBI branch. After making the payment, aspirants will have to enter payment details to generate a unique registration number. Now, they will be required to take a printout of their registration details along with the unique number.
Payment by SAARC and Non-SAARC Exam Centre Candidates
These aspirants can pay the fees on the MOPS page by using the International Debit/ Credit Card as issued by foreign banks outside India. Payments made in USD are not allowed through Debit/Credit Cards issued in India. After successful payment of the fees, aspirants will be able to print the “Registration Details” with Unique Registration Number.

Step 4 – Printing of Confirmation Page
After paying the JEE Advanced 2021 application fee successfully, aspirants will have to submit the application form finally and take a printout of the confirmation page and keep it safe for future use.

Mistakes to avoid during JEE Advanced Registration
- Do not opt for test centres that are too far. Choose your JEE Advanced test centres that are closest to your current residence.
- Ensure that you have paid the JEE Advanced application fee successfully. If the transaction remains incomplete, your application will be rejected.
