JEE Advanced Paper Analysis 2020
JEE Advanced 2020 was successfully conducted in two shifts for Paper 1 and 2 on September 27, 2020. Here is the paper analysis for both the shifts of JEE Advanced based on initial student reactions:
JEE Advanced 2020 Paper 1 Analysis
- JEE Advanced Paper 1 was conducted from 9.00 AM to 12.00 Noon.
- As per the initial reaction of the test takers paper was moderate to difficult in terms of difficulty level.
- The Chemistry section was observed as the easiest of the three sections as expected.
- Mathematics was found to be highly time consuming and moderate in terms of level of difficulty.
- Physics was labelled as the toughest section by most of the test takers.
- In maths, questions from algebra and calculus were difficult.
- Questions were mostly from chapters like rotation, work power energy, magnetism and thermodynamics in Physics.
- The chemistry paper was mostly NCERT based.
JEE Advanced 2020 Paper 2 Analysis
- Paper 2 of JEE Advanced 2020 was conducted from 2.30 PM to 5.30 PM.
- Mathematics and Physics were both found to be difficult in terms of calculations and time management.
- Chemistry questions mostly followed the NCERT pattern.
- IIT Delhi has raised the total marks of JEE Advanced 2020 to 396 (198 for each Paper 1 and Paper 2).
