1. Science Olympiad Foundation:

SOF is a Non-Profit private Organization popularizing healthy academic competition and assisting the development of competitive spirit among school students. SOF Organization was established by leading academicians, scientists, and media personalities to promote Science, Mathematics, Computer Education, Language, General Knowledge, and professional courses.

Science Olympiad Foundation has been striving for close to 25 years to develop scientific and researcher attitudes among students through innovative activities and the use of IT in the learning process that involves schools across the globe.

2. Unified Council:

The Unified Council board consists of a group of experienced teachers and professionals who have had intense involvement in the field of education. Their hands-on and real-life experience helps the team to create and implement legit solutions that are based on the actual needs of schools and teachers.

It was established in 1998 by eminent personalities from various fields, including many academicians of international repute. Since the Council’s starting years, Unified Council had tried to put together a team of individuals from the field of education in an endeavor to make the younger generation fundamentally stronger, sharper and to nourish their brains for challenging future.

3. ASSET:

ASSET Olympiad Exams is a scientifically designed test which benchmarks a student’s performance will help everyone else who has attempted the exam and gives students a report of their strengths and weaknesses. Rather than testing their memory or their ability to remember formulas and definitions ASSET tries to get students to apply these concepts in various hypothetical situations where a student’s higher-order thinking skills are tested.

ASSET also provides two other reports for the teacher (of the particular subject) as well as the management with instructions on where all the students lack and how to work on these weaknesses and make them understand concepts better.

It helps in Benchmarking school’s performance, Misconceptions that students carry behind every concept, and Teacher Effectiveness while teaching the students. The Report not only measures the Students Report but also measures the Teacher Performance along with the School Benchmarking. ASSET conducts three olympiads of English, Maths, and Science.

4.TERI:

TERIIN is an independent, multi-dimensional Foundation, with capabilities in research, policy, consultancy, and implementation. TERI act as innovators and agents of change in the energy, environment, climate change and sustainability space, having pioneered conversations for making it a better place to live in and action in these areas for over four decades.

GREEN Olympiad is an associate annual written examination on setting initiated by The Energy and Resources Institute (TERI) in 1999. The examination is conducted by setting the Education & Awareness space (EEA) of TERI and attracts participation from faculty students across India and abroad.

The examination is open just for colleges related to recognized education boards and academic trusts. Students registered in such colleges from grades IV to X will seem during this examination.

5. SilverZone Olympiads:

The SilverZone Foundation conducts SilverZone Olympiad Exams. The SilverZone Foundation is an NGO that is purely dedicated to improve and promote competitive spirit awareness of academics among school students in India and abroad. This SilverZone (Non-Profit Organization) is registered with XXI 18760 under the registration rule of the Delhi Government.

The SilverZone organization achieves its goal by organizing and conducting International Olympiad Exams. Outstanding performance in the Olympiad Exams by Students are identified based on merit and are given recognition in the form of Certificates, Medals, Trophies, and Prizes.

6. EduHeal Foundation:

EduHeal Foundation helps identify the most talented students across the country. It does so by using three levels of exams to filter the elite. The three levels measure the student’s intellect and select them for the next round. The final level is a sponsored program by world-class institutions and organizations around the world which exposes students to research in each domain. People working in various fields also mentor there. EduHeal also conducts online Exams along with paper-based tests.

The paper-based Olympiad Exams are limited for the first round (some exams are undertaken only online), and the Level-2 exam will be conducted exclusively online at more than 200+ computer centres/1000+ school computer centers around the world. EduHeal Foundation provides students who have crossed specific criteria to visit ISRO and Bombay Stock Exchange to meet with eminent personalities and also to be a part of national workshops.

8. International Competitions and Assessments for Schools (ICAS):

IAIS is an internationally conducted examination customized for students of primary and secondary school.

These Olympiad Exams are overseen by Educational Assessments Australia (EEA), a part of UNSW Global. Australia’s leading research and teaching universities which own UNSW Global and are responsible for the development of ICAS are the University of New South Wales. ICAS administers these exams in over 20 countries across the world.

9. HBCSE

The idea of the Homi Bhabha Centre for Science Education (HBCSE) started in the late 1960s when some scientists at the Tata Institute of Fundamental Research (TIFR) decided to improve the quality of science taught in India. The program started with these scientists teaching students in Mumbai and a few places in rural Madhya Pradesh.

That idea grew to become HBCSE in 1974, which is supported by the Department of Atomic Energy (DAE). HBCSE works on the improvement of science and mathematics education and to bring out quality education material. At present, Homi Bhabha Centre for Science Education (HBCSE) is a National Centre of the Tata Institute of Fundamental Research (TIFR), Mumbai. To reach its goal, HBCSE does several interrelated activities. They are:

10. UNICUS Olympiads

Unicus Olympiad is India’s first summer Olympiad exam introduced to encourage students to adopt the concept-driven method of studying. This method enhances the questioning curiosity of students which assists them to answer all why, what, how, when, and where questions. Unicus Olympiads encourages students by offering them certificates. 11. Indian Talent Olympiad (ITO)

Indian Talent Olympiad was introduced in 2012 to identify talented students and train them to improve their academic performance to enhance conceptual learning. The individual Olympiad exams conducted under Indian Talent Olympiad focuses on the knowledge, level of understanding, and reasoning ability of students all across India under different subjects of their academics. Considering records it is notable that 31,573 schools across India have registered for Indian Talent Olympiad examinations and over the past one year ITO has won trust over 1 crore parents.

Indian Talent Olympiad conducts 8 individual exams under Maths, Science, English, Social sciences, General Knowledge, Arts (Dance), Essay Writing, and Computer Science. Indian Talent Olympiad exam dates for all the eight individual exams as been listed in the table.

12. Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana (KVPY):

KVPY is an on-going National Fellowship Program in Basic Sciences which is initiated and funded by the Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India, to attract highly motivated students for pursuing basic Science degree courses and research careers in science and Mathematics subject.

The objective of the KVPY program is to identify talented students with an aptitude for research and help them to realize their academic potential also to encourage them to take up research careers in the Science field and ensure the growth of the best scientific minds for research and development in the country.

13. National Olympiad Foundation (NOF):

National Olympia Foundation constitutes docking of academic talent and social entrepreneurship helping the ability to come out from the walls of the classroom.

National Olympiad Foundation conducts one of its own GLOBAL talent search exams where the resources are utilized for students in need who are ignorant about education. NOF has its extensive features which are not undermined by any of the other organization in India, e.g., NOF is first to introduce Olympiad Exams in Commerce, GK & Biology. NOF acts as a bookmark to benchmark. NOF is an organization of academic examination conducted across the country. An exclusive body of academicians of national and international fame prepares all the questions for the exam.

14. Southeast Asian Mathematics Olympiad (SEAMO):

SEAMO was introduced in 2016, serving both Primary and Secondary schools in Southeast Asian countries. This Olympiad Exam provides a realistic & neutral perspective to each student on their ability & skills; aims at promoting excellence in every sphere of school learning.

It presents a common platform that assesses the problem-solving ability of a student by compelling them to think deeply. Encourages students to develop Logical & Analytical Thinking ability.

15. NMMS

NMMS is the Scholarship exam that is conducted in every state. The Government Sponsored Scheme “National Means-cum-Merit Scholarship Scheme (NMMSS)” was first launched in May 2008. The objective of the NMMS scheme is to award scholarships to meritorious students of economically weaker sections to arrest their drop out of class VIII and encourage them to continue studying at the secondary stage.

Scholarship of Rs. 12,000/- per annum (Rs.1000/- per month) is awarded to selected students every year to study in classes from IX to XII in State Government Schools.

16. NTSE

The Government of India established the National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) in the year 1961 to bring about qualitative improvement in school education in the country. The council started several programs towards its vision, and one such program was the identifications and nurturing of talented students and was called the National Talent Search Exam(NTSE).

17. Technothlon

Technothlon is a competition conducted for school students internationally by the student body of IIT Guwahati. Starting with a group of students in a small room in 2004 to “Inspire Young Minds.” The competition started with students in the city of Guwahati and has expanded to more than 400 cities in the past 14 years with various centers abroad.

The championship is conducted in two rounds:

  1. Prelims:Prelim is a written exam which is done all over India in multiple schools in July.
  2. Mains:Mains is a competition where teams participate in different events conducted in Technique, the Techno-Management festival of IIT Guwahati.

18. Indian Computing Olympiad (ICO)

Indian Computing Olympiad is a nationwide Olympiad organized annually by IARCS. The goal of the exam is to identify school students with outstanding skills in algorithms and computer programming. The 4 students to represent India at the IOI World finals are selected through the Indian Computing Olympiad (ICO). The first ICO was organized way back in 2002; however, it got its name in 2006. The Indian Association for Research in Computing Science (IARCS) organizes the ICO every year.

19. Indian School Talent Search Exam (ISTSE)

Indian School Talent Search Exam (ISTSE) is an international level talent search examination for Indian school students. ISTSE is a scientifically designed, skill-based assessment test to get the strengths and weaknesses of individual students across India.

ISTSE is designed to assess the overall intellectual potential of the students from class 1 to 10. It uses conceptual; multiple-choice questions to focus on measuring how well skills and concepts underlying the school syllabus have been understood by the student. ISTSE exam is conducted separately for ( Students those who applied online i.e Individually and for those students who applied through respected Schools.)

20. International Life Skill Olympiad (ILSO)

ILSO is the World’s First online olympiad to test young student’s Critical Life Skills Quotient and to compare the same with the most skilled children’s across the globe. Students of Class III-XII from all over the world can take part and test their Life Skills aptitude using real-world scenario-based questions.

While preparing for the ILSO exam, students will also get exposed and acquire new life skills. With students participating from 100+ countries, they all get to learn and evolve as truly global citizens.

21. Crest Olympiad
