CDS Exam Pattern 2018

The exam pattern of CDS has been prescribed by Union Public Service Commission. CDS is conducted in two stages – written exam and SSB Interview. As per CDS exam pattern 2018, the exam will be conducted in pen and paper mode. Candidates applying for Indian Military Academy, Indian Naval Academy and Air Force Academy courses have to write three subjects – English, General Knowledge, and Elementary Mathematics. Those applying for Officers’ Training Academy course have to appear for two subjects – English and General Knowledge. Each paper as per CDS 2018 exam pattern will be conducted for 2 hours. CDS Exam Pattern 2018 –Written Exam

Candidates for admission to Indian Military Academy, Naval Academy and Air Force Academy courses have to appear for three subjects.

  1. For admission to Officers’ Training Academy courses, candidates have to appear for two subject

  2. There are three subjects – English, General Knowledge and Elementary Mathematics

  3. Total marks allotted for each subject is 100

  4. Candidates have to attempt each paper within 2 hours
